This is especially useful in the past where technology and access to toys were not as accessible. Today, games have evolved from not just entertainment, but have also become a tool for storytelling. It is easy to see how both games and storytelling can come hand-in-hand when they are both based upon the idea of entertainment.
2. Games as a way to connect people together has a long history. Games have traditionally been a way for people to come together to play and pass time. Today, we see the same types of behaviors in video games. In popular games like Fortnite or Roblox, the main thesis falls upon the community. People from all backgrounds come together to play with each other. Whether they are friends who have not seen each other in a long time or newly made internet friends, video games are starting to enable a type of communication and relationship building that is a challenge exclusively to this new century.
We can quickly see that this type of video game is becoming more popular, with the legacy games such as World of Warcraft and more modern games like Call of Duty, the central theme of these games are centered more around community. Whether these are based upon real-life friendships or virtually build relationships, the future is becoming more dependent on these virtual collaborative activities.

It is because humans have not completely bridged the virtual gap. We have seen solutions that bridge education and games, but aside from that there is a massive gap.
